If its a silly bug and you cant fix it
Then why are you even employed?

There is a proper time and a place for everything. Doing a podcast after a fiasco like this and just before dropping another fiasco looks bad. Sorry if you cant put 2 and 2 together to see it."YaeVizsla;c-1994074" wrote:

At this rate, you can have GK and GG ship 7*ed by Christmas.....2020. This is the real 5 year plan.
Time to take Negotiator from nothing to max can go as low as four and a half months. And while you probably at less than half that level of performance right now, work with your guild to improve at the raid and you can get closer.
If he's at less than half the 4.5 month minimum right now, then December 2020 is probably not a bad guess. Especially since the lstb release will slow get 2 acquisition as compared to running dstb.

You mean this week or last week?
Wasn’t the latest post saying they know yet another issue is plaguing malak, so they removed him from the Store and cancelled the event, and would look at it Monday?- NotRealUltraSeasoned Newcomer

Yea I mean, why would a shop put in a little overtime to fix a bug that’s been recurring for weeks now, and hooked to people deciding if and when they spend actual cash.
Forget that noise, it’s the weekend time to party lol- SchwartzringSeasoned Rookie

RIGHT. We can not expect them to work late or miss the Friday Happy Hour after all.
I mean, they only had all week to test this stuff. - NotRealUltraSeasoned Newcomer

Bugs happen all the time, even a developer has its limits on how much they can pump energy into the same problem and try again the next working day
Criticize CG all you want, but all the big tech companies also follow the same standard:

At this point it’s hilarious to see people such as yourself even remotely defend Cg.
I run a software development shop. Save your copy and paste links about Apple.
This is a massive and recurring issue, that’s affected every facet of this game.
From people making decisions to spend real cash on him, to people still getting free shards while others worked or paid for them. Down to people being allowed to run 6dot mods in GA on a 6 star malak. It’s a mess.
Save your fallacies as well. When did I ever claim developers need to work “non stop”? Bugs happen all of the time? Another cool fallacy I never claimed didn’t happen.
At this point it isn’t a bug, it’s a problem. They don’t know the reasons why. Read up on ITIL.
Also, someone needs to desperately coach CG on service recovery.
There is no way you can claim they have test cases, regression testing or UAT. This event has been back multiple times, without this issue. Whatever change they did on other areas of the game, that modified the code of the malk event, wasn’t tested for. Their roll back plan even failed, so they clearly had no recovery plan when the deploy new changes.
But an Apple article says bugs happen all the time..."Ravens1113;c-1994206" wrote:

Unfortunately this game runs on the weekend too. As with most companies, if there’s an issue on the weekends, they need to say “back to work till this is fixed”. Plenty of private sector businesses make their employees work overtime on the weekends for massive screw ups
Correct. Especially when it’s such a recurring issue, that is tied to people literally spending cash.
