ST Han Taunt vs Palp Shock

From my arena matches I've noticed if you Shock ST Han before he taunts, he will still gain the ally TM effect on damage. This cannot be dispelled in the normal way of removing taunt. So he will continue to provide TM gains without taunt in effect.

From my normal gameplay I thought removing taunt also removes the TM gain effect. Even the dispel hit which damages ST Han doesn't provide ally gains.

WAI?
  • Not sure but I have reported it as a bug.

I run B2, if I pre dispell him and block his taunt, same thing you say happens he uses his taunt skill but doesn't taunt and still grants tm. If I hit him with a debuff again it doesn't effect the tm granting he still grants it.

But if you dispell after he taunts then the tm goes away with it...
  • Right, I would have thought since TM is tied to the taunt effect ally gains would be prevented by blocking the buff. It seems trying to pre-block the taunt makes the TM effect stronger since it lasts the full duration and cannot be dispelled.

I'll just prioritize other characters and dispel STH as normal until it's confirmed WAI or addressed. Thanks for the feedback.

Had been reported with immunity debuff in the bugs section as Kyno stated hopefully dev will give an answer one day. I still think it is better to shock/buff immunity sth than let him taunt and remove. Just don't attack him till last one he tries to taunt.
  • If STH is shocked, he will still gain tm if struck, but you can simply attack someone else, and avoid the issue entierly. If you're running an AOE team, different story
