Stop asking for new Zeta: ask for rework!

Many players request Zeta to revitalize first generation toons, but what we need are kind of "free" rework: no Omega nor Zeta should be required to make a toon viable, much like we should not wait to gear a toon up to G11 to make it viable (cf Darth Sidious or Boba Fett (+12 speed at G11)).

RT and Poe rework were great examples (although waiting for Omega to make RT viable was annoying).

But Lumi has a Zeta! She's so useful now!

Yeah I don't like all the toons needing zetas to be good. Its bad for longevity of the game because new players won't be able to have fun using all these characters that need zetas to be good

AAT is endgame. The problem is that whenever anyone talks about a character needing a rework they're talking about Arena. They don't understand that Arena is only one tiny slice of the game, and that it's completely different from everything else. There's a time limit and a draw is equal to a loss, so it skews heavily towards offense and virtually eliminates healing. That's an inherent vice to Arena that doesn't apply anywhere else--Galactic War, raids, mod challenges, credit heists, miscellaneous events.

Saying a character needs a redesign because they're not good in Arena is like saying a non-Scoundrel character needs a redesign because they're not good in heists. (Which might sound like hyperbole, but hoooo boy, do a search for "Should X have the Scoundrel tag?" threads and you'll find some straight up silliness in the past because, yeah, people really will try anything to get that extra edge without resorting to doing actual investment.)

Sorry no, they are improvements. Reworks: different abilities without investing additional resources. Yoda, Boba, JKA have been reworked, you did not have to invest 1 month of farming to profit from the change (for a toon in which you already invested 2 months of farming).

That's because those characters were bad through and through. They failed on all levels of the game. Zetas are given to characters who still do their job well, but need that little extra oomph to compete with newer characters.

Seriously?

Vader is useless without Zeta or without EP lead, Maul is useless if not for his Zeta lead. Resistance is useless if not for Finn lead. Boba Fett is awesome without Zeta, and this Zeta is only useful in raid (as you always either execute Boba with Boba, or wait until you are sure you can juste double kill him).

Why rework, when they do it halfway, then slap a zeta on it. Most people can't freely get zeta's, so it requires you to spend. Remember all they want is money.

You really can't buy zetas...and everyone is setup to get them from free. All you have to do is battle in ship arena and you can get them from the ship store. Buy ships from GW shop and your all set.... no spending required.
