While in Configuration - Dual Wield, Jedi Cal Castis can be destroyed in one blast from an Imperial Probe Droid. With modules, I've always completed this SM with full squads at 6/6. This time, the IPD one-shot Cal with 100% HP + 100% Defense + 25% bonus Defense.

Note that the stun-lock strategy is not a guaranteed win the way it used to be, but it is going to be much more successful in the current environment than trying to turtle up and outlast the damage. You need IPD not to hit you in the first place, and that's what Stun Lock does for you.
I can agree something fishy is going on had similar problem... and other guild members as well. probably some mess after kit upgrade...
This happened to me two RotEs ago (my first attempt at it). I was annoyed as I'd just invested the Zeta's and TB Omis to make sure I could complete the encounter successfully. However, on the second wave a healthy JKCK was somehow one-shot by the IPD self-destruct. Needless to say I lost.
However, I was successful last RotE and this one, no problems at all. The IPD didn't even self-destruct. So I'm currently on 2 out of 3 successes. I assume I just had bad RNG on my first attempt.
