Yep, Vader's basic always damages Jedi - can't be dodged or evaded and penetrates through foresight. It's a real two-for-one here. That's why I like using him, have his basic and specials Omega'd along with him at 6* and G10. Behind an EP lead he can be devastating.

But... Yoda is a faster toon than Vader so will grant tenacity to all before vader's AOE attack - rendering this attack by vader useless right off the bat.
Yes his basic will dispel Yoda's foresight and deal damage, and hopefully ability block too (if Yoda doesn't have his tenacity buff active). Having said that, Vader's basic attack is weak, dealing little damage. Furthermore, as Yoda is a faster toon, he will be able to attack again quickly regaining foresight anyway.
Ultimately Yoda is great against EP and Vader with his tenacity buff he and the team will evade EP's shock and Vader's AOE, but Yoda will need heavy hitters backing up his protection.
A couple things:
1) Vader should have turn meter carryover from earlier battles so he'll go ahead of Yoda very often.
2) Yoda's AI is inconsistent and will often do his AoE first.
3) Vader's Ability Block should penetrate Yoda's Tenacity Up. I've seen it resisted before, but more often than not it will land. I think there's a weird interaction between "always resist" and "never resist" that balances out to "roll to resist as normal."
4) This is to what someone else said, not you, but I'd argue that he's not hard to unlock at all. Everyone gets him after about the same time, you don't work towards him at the expense of other characters, and his gear requirements are really low."Boo;761444" wrote:

He was really handy against OB leads. Between him and RG, OB was pretty much useless...excrpt for the dodge lead, of course- Congratz! Im 70 of 100 what a grind!
