Video of the new Reva mission -- THERMALS ACTIVE
Here's video of Lysias' run. I couldn't quite get to them fast enough and the run started without me, so there are a couple things here that I would do differently (even in P2).
There's not a full analysis of the video written yet, but you can see that we are running the strategy we mapped out before the mission went live, and it worked well for us even with a stun on 7S.
Now earlier when we expected the Line In The Sand ability to be active at max level (80% chance to attempt to land 2 thermals for each instance of damage, damage based on a higher % of max health) we thought a stun on 7S would be one of the catastrophic conditions that could kill a run.
You can see that in this run, that didn't happen. The Level1 LitS ability has only a 40% chance to attempt to land 2 thermals (and as always there's a 15% chance to resist each) and the bombs don't do that extra damage from ability upgrades, so many fewer landed, and the damage was survivable (given proper modding).
You will notice though that 5B still takes 8 thermals. Had the ability been maxed, that would have been 16 thermals each doing more damage and 5B could not survive that -- especially since the GI cleanse doesn't happen until 9 DoTs are present.
This is the best introductory video possible because it shows you one of the worst cases, but the correct strategy still nets the shard.
Always beware, though, that improper strategy will get you killed. The mission is forgiving enough to let you overcome a bad opening, but the thermals are still deadly. It just takes longer without TenacityUP before you accumulate a lethal number.
