What About Characters In Limbo?

Most likely they are falling into the 3 month release model already. I may be mistaken but shoretrooper/pathfinder on a node seems to jive with the timeline since he and Pathfinder were released first.

Chirrut's tournament was months ago with no further activity. Cassian and Jyn have been a little more recent, but it's been at least a month since the last tournament. I don't think they are on the cycle yet.

They probably arint going to release packs for them it was too long ago. Cassian and Jyn should enter Chromiums in about march and nodes in april since they came out towards the end of December. Baze is in Chromiums and Chirrut should be next month I believe.

I was not playing till late November so I may be off on my timelines.

These characters should fall into the rotation @CG_TopHat mentioned, which will be further detailed in future updates. But just to reiterate I've copypasta-ed the pertinent info from their Character Release announcement. Cheers!

• After the end of these events, we are going to wait for approximately four to six week to move the characters to Chromium packs and/or relevant Category packs and/or the Shard Shop (we’re still designing this part of the deployment).
  
• From there, after another four to six weeks characters will move to either a Shipment or a node on the Light, Dark, or Cantina Battle tables
  

So from event to node is about 12 weeks/3 months. With about 2-3 new characters a month everyone will have new characters available each month be they F2P or P2P.

Me too... I think its great to know a character will be readily available in ~3 months.

Now the question will be is that enough time to invest in the new characters to get them early?

The viable teams are growing which is great balance but that could lessen or reduce the "need" to get the new toons asap.

Quite honestly I would be fine slipping in the arena if the characters in the shop aren't really needed. I am a newer player just getting to that position.

Love this system much better than what we have currently.

For those wondering... 20th February marks 3 months since the end of the Chirrut tournament.
