yeah, we have that already. It's Territory Wars" where two guilds face off in a 24-hour race to attack and clear more of the opponent's defenses. I do not think we need anymore content to have to engage in constantly throughout the day in a global game. Log in to hit shipments. Log in for dailies. Log in for daily events that all do not reset at the same time of day, some are at 2PM EST, other's are overnight. Log in to set TW defenses, GAC defenses. Log in to attack. Log in for conquest three or more times a day. log in for marquees. Log in to platoon in TB. Later, log in to see of platoons are full, if not log in yet again to finally attack. Lots of content there already.

That kinda destroys what TW is. At that point it may as well just be GAC but with GP based matchmaking. That and it determining guild defeat and victory is the only variance between it and GAC. Plus it enhances the problem of people choosing to not play or participate.
The “guild wars” event y’all are looking for is literally just territory wars. It is basically guild vs guild GAC and the closest thing we’re going to see to direct guild competition. I will agree it probably needs a bit of attention from CG to spice it up, but a whole new game mode accomplishing the same thing is redundant.

I would be highly interested in a GAC style TW - matching joined members from opposing guilds, sorted by GP. Guild that wins the most matches gets the W.

Read what OP said, he’s talking about RSL mechanics and that sort of thing or basically a TB but gulf vs guild.

I played raid SL a bit and this is the worst idea I’ve seen in years of gaming. This stagnates progress until you’re „allowed“ to progress further. It basically only has bad impacts on you’re account and play experience, the whole idea of saving up stuff isn’t bad but what it eventually does is: you can for example upgrade a char to max lvl but won’t do it cause you need 2 additional other chars to get to max lvl as well otherwise you won’t get rewards or the desired reward or as many rewards as you’d get for 3 max lvl chars during the event or guild event period, this means you’re basically forced to hold back on progressing and playing just to get better rewards. It mad me loose interest in raid as soon as I understood that raid is build on these principles, imo it’s the worst thing you could do to a game. RAID goes even further and applies this to all shades of the game which completely sabotages player progression and experience imo.
