Zader vs. Zaul. Who is better and Why?

No love on this thread... lol

I'm 19/20 on zetas, and have both Vader and Maul G11, fully maxed. But after reading thousands of topics in this forum, I will probably go for Vader, because the extra P3 damage will really help me get to top1 in AAT and make me unlock Kenobi faster.

Meanwhile, before unlocking Kenobi, I will run Vader Z on arena and see how it goes (Vader L / EP / Boba / ST / TFP or B2). I know this squad is far from OP but will help keep me in top10.

After unlocking and gearing Kenobi (probably next month), I will zeta Maul, so my arena will be Maul L / EP / Kenobi / ST / Boba (or B2 vs multiple taunters).

But if you are close to unlock Kenobi, I would do Maul.

Let's just hope they don't release a new OP empire hero later this or next month, so we don't waste our zetas.

I am close to unlock on Kenobi, 138/145. How does he fit into a Maul group ?

I want to run Maul (Zeta), Palp, Vader, Boba (Zeta) and TFP

If your going for arena wins then Maul is much better. I have Zader. I tried him for a while then went back to EP lead. There is a Maul lead team on my shard and is currently by biggest challenge but he also uses Zeta yoda or Zeta Barris. But even before he had these 2 other Zetas the Maul Zeta lead was tough.

i went with maul. i have no regrets.

I am leaning towards Maul. I can always just do Vader after Maul. For some strange reason I panic and act like it's my last Zetas or something.

Plus Maul is my favorite toon and Star Wars character ever.

Hydracarbon. What group do you run with him?

Maul (l), EP, Boba, Chirrut, and Baze. will swap Chirrut with kenobi when i unlock him. It's funny, i've seen 3 Zaders on my shard, and no one runs him as leader. i think he has greater utility as lead in the raids. disappointing in arena.

I don't have Chaze...

I was thinking Maul, Fast Vader, EP, Zeta Boba and one more. Should that one more be Kenobi?

I had that same doubt, but gave Vader a zeta and no regreat at all. Frankly i prefered Maul, but his battles rellies a lot at good rng. Like how many toons will palp stun right at the start.

Vader dots are endeless, give him high protection and he will be the last standing after two force crushes/blades.

Boba fighting alongside is a high damage weapon with execute, enemies full of dots for him it's a party! Even Sidious gets back to arena under Vader.
