- In a turn based game where speed determines who goes first and who goes more often? Gee whiz, sounds just about right.
- No, speed is not all that matters. But it is very, very, very important.
The fastest characters get to go more often than slower characters. Which, obviously, is invaluable. You can have the best character in the world but if they never get to go (because they've been killed or stunned by a character that gets to go more often) then they are useless. - It depends. In case of tanks like GK KRU, Health and Protection can be more important than speed. But yes, Speed is also very very important. For example, Thrawn is the character whose speed is the most important. If Thrawn’s go first, you can choose two things. Swap TM which you want to go first or fracture one of the enemies who you want to stop.
- Why raid han will always be an elite toon.
All things considered...yes...speed is all that matters.
You do not see anyone collecting mods without speed.....
Even toons like sith trooper are superior when fast compared to a slow sith trooper. - Speed isn't all that matters, it's just the priority.

This.
Also, speed is really about who goes first, there is no Yoon fast enough or match long enough to say that they "go more often" at least not naturally through speed.
That being said, you can be slower and win, it's not hard.- They’ve actually done a terrific job lately of creating characters that don’t require speed. The new scoundrels are a perfect example.
The problem is these debuffs that can’t be dispelled/prevented. Fracture and isolate are terrible for the game IMO. Even cooldown reductions. You have to be faster to try and prevent them, because you can’t do anything about them once they are up. And Traya dispels everything, so other than another fracture/isolate/cooldown reduction, you can’t prevent Traya or Nihilus from getting them off. So it’s become all about having the fastest Thrawn/Nihilus/Traya. If you have that, you can neutralize anything. It doesn’t matter if the opponent can hit twice as hard or absorb twice as much damage, as they won’t even get a turn. "Kyno;c-1640743" wrote:

I see plenty of Thrawns and Nests at 300+ speed now, and my Sith Trooper is only at 136 Speed so yes, there are now plenty of toons fast enough to go twice as often as slower toons."Huatimus;c-1640789" wrote:

Ok, that is true, but that is not because they out speed you, it's because you intentionally slowed your toon. But yes that is a particular situation where what I said is not true.- The actual arguement/discussion should be.
150 tenacity nest + 90 speed
Or
50 tenacity nest +135 speed
Who would you choose?
