Hello and thanks for taking the time. I am not really a new player at level 60 but don't really have a roadmap to follow so I kind of still am. I want a decent team that can carry me through the (early-mid) game and help me get legendary characters. My ultimate goal is unlocking General Kenobi and R2D2, I am a big Clone Wars fan and don't really care about the rest.I've heard the Phoenix team is good but I don't really like their design, since again, I like Clones and Jedis. Should I still farm them from scratch? Will they help me reach my goal?I do already have some decent Jedi and I can easily get one or two jedi that I am missing for a jedi team, even Anakin is in my reach pretty. I just don't whether I can reach my goal with a Jedi or Clone team. And which characters would I use? No idea about a good team that can carry me through the game.I hope someone can help me. How important is arena to you? Depending on your guild Kenobi could be a long ways away. If your satisfied with only maintaining top 500 in arena clones and Jedi may be viable squads. I am currently maintaining top 300 with my Jedi squad on my alt account but I'm also using 2 Phoenix Jedi. Ezra is one of the top Jedi in the game and I wouldn't be anywhere close to there without him because high damage is super important, even then I have to be very selective in teams I go against.

To unlock GK you will need to be accepted in a guild that does the AAT raids on heroic level. The better roster in general — the easier you will be accepted into such a guild. And yes, focusing on Phoenix and Empire to unlock legendary characters will show this guild, that you know, what you are doing.

In order to get legendary characters, you will need full squads of Rebels, Empire, Jedi, First Order, and Phoenix plus a guild capable of heroic raids. Phoenix also count as Rebels, which takes your required squads down to 4 and a couple of them are also Jedi. In order to get hero’s journey characters, you need certain specific characters in addition to the teams to unlock the legendary droids. So there is no single team that will carry you through the game. The best starting option is Phoenix, but if you don’t like them the second best option is probably First Order or Empire.

It's usually full Phoenix (unless you use Chopper/Ezra in non—Phoenix teams). Missing out on a unique, which gets shared to the rest of the team is simply too cripling.

A reminder that any discussion about starting up - getting through the game - needs to involved time to get a scoundrel team for the Credit Heist. As way above (last page) thats why you see the STH and Lando recommendations.

Even at "End game" (whatever that means....) I still rely on the heist to let me buy good mods.... which'll get replaced soon, I'm sure, but 6 or 7* mods. LOL

I got through the Credit Heist progression (including consistent clear of the final stage, pre-sim) using Boba, Greedo, Dengar, Cad, and Clone Chewie. But only because I didn't know any better.

And with that said, while Lando is much better for the credit heist, thanks to TB, you now need a good BH team too, so...I figure that's a bit of a draw.

Also, I call Thrawn's ship the Chimichanga. Just easier to spell and like his ship, they are dangerously delicious.

How many fleets do you run in TW? Just Tarkin and Thrawn's capital ships? You bringing any reinforcements to the battle?

I run three since I don't have Thrawn's ship yet. The Phoenix ships get thrown into the trash with the rest of my Mace fleet. Sure, I could upgrade them and improve that terrible fleet to slightly less terrible, and maybe I will at some point, but I have many other higher priorities.

To get trawn i used hera G9, ezra G10, chopper/kanan/zeb G8...
Average like +80 speed from mods and it took me like 50 trys to get good RNG and be able to 7 star him lol
Really hard event...

Then i geared PX a bit more for this event against sith where u could use either PX or NS... Hera G10, ezra G11, rest still at 8

PX have good ships, but nothing incredible... And a mid game player priority isnt 4 full fleets for TW

Thats why i said dont gear them um more by the moment once u 7* trawn leave them in the dust and gear them up end game when u need them for raids xD

Well, I suppose I could start hoarding just in case. Although to get everyone (Chopper, not Sabine) to G9 from my current G8...

I don't think anyone will really be able to answer that question because nobody will have tested how far a 2* squad can go. The answer is as far as you can get; when you can't go further you'll need to upgrade them.

My question is what are you using your energy for if not to farm and gear phoenix?
