So poking around I’ve seen a lot of members really helping each other and sharing their swgoh.gg accounts looking for advise on where they should go and how they should make their galactic power stronger. What characters I should focus on upgrading for making a stronger Squad Arena team2. What characters would be be good upgrading for a stronger Guild team (lol I know Jyn is a good character and the R1 team) o:)PS I’m almost done upgrading my Empire team to get 7* R2 and almost done getting my 7* Old Ben so I can get CLS and I also need 12 more shards to unlock Jyn Erso

@TVF Hey We are here to help each other and that's awesome you being in the 200 and less in SA rank, but that's crazy that you haven't seen any AA (L) I guess they only do those leads whenever they have a solid squad to back him up cause he is kinda of squishy, but for me he's been treating me right. For me I'm in between 800-600 but surprisingly I only have less than 55K Squad GP so I'm pretty proud of myself :)@Liath Well I didn't mention I am as we speak recruiting members right now. I have about 11 invites pending and continuing whenever I encounter someone through Squad Arena battle or regular battlers through that ally thing. I meant I'll wait till I start recruiting hardcore like cause I just want to get only 85 members and then whenever if ever my guild gets full I'll have to kick out the lowest member with the lowest GP then invite others that are stronger. In a way i'm actually doing that now. Do you have a guild or are a member of a guild?

Bite the bullet, hit up the Guild section and find a guild with 40+ members who can take you guys in. No farm suggestions can remotely compare to that.

We had almost a month heads up before guild update went live. The vast majority of guilds in the top 100 today hit the ground running with 45+ members, day 1. All the recruiting took place before guilds were implemented, and after that it was just replacing a few people over time who stop playing, ect. The desire to build a guild from scratch, while admirable, is completely unrealistic at this point in the game. Recruiting/retention of active growing players will be near impossible long term, the advantages of large guilds will prove too tempting and consistently lure away players you'll need to make progress on your goals; which will snowball onto other players moral. This isn't saying you shouldn't build up your guild, or continue playing the game how you'd like and find ejoyment from. It's not a criticism of your leadership or recruiting abilities either, the game simply isn't designed like that anymore; and your long term goal for your guild is very likely unrealistic. That being said, this is primarily a resource management game, and you've mentioned how much you enjoying playing and routinely runs out of things to do daily. I'm just sharing the information that there is 10x the resources and at least double the game content available if you so choose. What do you mean by guild team? Are you talking about raids?

@DedrickRogue I appreciate everything. I'll continue as I said, but your insight has me well informed on at least how I should go about my path towards making a stronger Guild.

@Naraic lol dang... 30k in one day, haha that's good, especially for a new guild. For now I only have 1 big guy on me team, but he's been participating in activities so I'm happy. I pretty much picked up an angle on how I'm going to grow it thanks with all this information that I've picked up with the help of the other forum members.

Remember to gear those characters too. Just because they’re 7 star won’t guarantee you the legendary character. I’m presuming you know this, but just emphasising it as I think you mentioned you’ll be done soon with certain factions. Again, I know you mean stars, t gearing takes a lot longer in places that gaining shards.

Keep up the focus and drive though!

:) also be mindful that certain characters for certain events will need to probably be gear 9/10. Obviously it all depends on the event and the other characters in the equation. Aim for g9 in any event you’re really interested in, then if they need to go any higher it should be the odd character up the odd gear level

It's funny after I sent you that message I came across this website https://swgohevents.com/ and it tells you the gear tier needed and what would be recommended that's cool you told me this too :). They kept mentioning it would be best to have the toons gear 9 so I'll make sure to keep that in mind. Especially for major events like R2, CLS and etc.

@Liath @DedrickRogue I was thinking after I get my 7* Old Ben I was going to farm for Captain Han (just in case) and after I get my 7* Empire team in order and get 7* Bariss I would focus my attention on making a 7* Scoundrels team. Still I'm not sure, but the Scoundrels have their benefits with farming. Then it would be either First Order for bb-8/JTR or the Resistance for Speed mods or the Phoenix for Thrawn. Out of the four I would see that it would be the Scoundrels and then maybe Phoenix what do y'all think? My account for where I'm at right now https://swgoh.gg/u/makinatrillion/

It's worth noting that you don't need to 7 star scoundrels. All you need is strong enough to do the job in credit heist.

If you 2ant to 7 star scoundrels do veteran Han and veteran Chewie for jtr.

What benefit to 7* scoundrels are you referring to? And why do you want 7* Barriss - are you planning to zeta her?
Does your guild currently do TB? I'm not sure I would recommend starting Captain Han until you are pretty close to getting to the ROLO mission. And remember that you need 5* Hoth Soldier also to do that mission. Don't forget Jawas for crit damage mods, that's a great set to have as well. You can't really go wrong farming Phoenix, they are useful in a lot of places.

@Naraic @Liath Oh okay, well that's good if I don't have to make them 7* then and yea if I do make a 7* scoundrel team it would be VH and VC because of the JTR so thanks for that and I would do a 7* Boba because of his ship besides that I should be good from there. From what I've come across, the scoundrels are good at farming for credits and omegas well mainly credits and training driods. For bariss I just wanted to keep her long enough until I have Hermit Yoda so no I wasn't going to Zeta her just to make her 7* (84 shards left) would be nice, you know? Oh you mean territory battle yes. I and my mates participate it every time it comes, but those special missions. Okay that makes sense to wait off Captain Han then because I still rarely do those special missions since either I don't have the characters or my characters are too weak. So you suggest after my empire team it would be best to go with the Phoenix 7* team? Cause at the same time I want to up my GP and have good characters for future use but at the same time I want to build what I've been missing out like the rebels and empire for example. That's why I'm trying to get them to 7* and then I guess I would go for Phoenix while I'm doing boba, VH, and VC then I like that. After it would be First Order then Resistance. Yea I like that, after my Empire I will go for Phoenix and while I'm doing Phoenix I will upgrade my Offee to 7* (while I'm still trying to get Hermit Yoda I need 105 more shards just to unlock him) and upgrade Boba VC and VH to 7* because of their benefits.

Yes, Empire and then Phoenix is a fine plan. You can't really star Barriss while farming Phoenix unless you only get her out of guild store or hard nodes. She's primarily a cantina farm, but Phoenix has two of those (though you can also get some Ezra from fleet when he shows up). VC and VH are also cantina farms (and 16 energy ones at that, so they take a long time).

How many stars do you get in TB and what phase do you reach? Phoenix at least will let you do the first special mission.

That’s not a problem with farming my Phoenix team. Like what I do now is I farm my Empire team first for example the royal guard and then the stormtrooper and whatever energy I have left after using my 5 battles I use the rest on bariss. So I’m going to do that same method with farming the Phoenix squad as my main first but I can see how the cantina battles can be a problem as you mentioned. As for as getting Stars in TB it’s mainly 2 for now :( like I can beat two different TB territories with one star on each
