Another observation: After deleting and reinstalling the app, the app indicated I should be on wifi to download additional data but my phone is currently on wifi.

That sounds like a cellular connection issue since you don't see that happening on WiFi. Additionally, the message you are seeing after reinstalling the game is just informal.

The game allows you to continue doing the battle while in airplane mode so a cellular connection wouldnt matter. One battle froze for me at 4:40 left after I selected an ability. The second battle froze at the end of the battle.
However if the game is somehow freezing because the phone is trying to establish a connection, that would be something that should be looked into.

I've been randomly getting 1-2 freezes per day since upgrading to iOS15.
It seems to happen more often after I get a notification that I interact with, but sometimes it'll just happen out of the blue.

Another freeze occurred on iOS 15. This time while on wifi. No notification or anything came to my phone. Just happened mid wave 2 of a TB CM.

I previously tried uninstalling and reinstalling and that worked for 2 days before this freeze happened.

@Seleucus_Nicator so I turn on Do Not Disturb mode. but alarm has exception. after ring the alarm, then game freeze and crash.

I have the same issue after upgrade. I tried everything : game reinstall, phone restart/hard restart, do not disturb, wifi/cellular, airplane mode and even moving to 15.1 beta. I get crashes multiple times a day. Happens on both iPad and iPhone with Ios 15. I have an older iphone with 14.7 and still no problems there. 2 members in my guild have the same issue in ios 15.

I have had numerous freezing problems that lead to hard crash since upgrading to iOS 15 including during critical matches in Grand arena. There seems to be some issue but I can’t figure out how to reproduce it reliably.

I have experienced this same issue at least 4 times in arena battles while only on a strong Wi-Fi connection. Unsure if it’s related but it has always been when General Skywalker is using Sundering Strike. I have only experienced this on an iPhone running iOS 15. No crashes on iPad.
