The Sims is not displaying graphics correctly.

Hi, I downloaded The Sims, but unfortunately, when I select a family and enter the house, no furniture, trees, or the house itself appear—everything is just green. I’m at my wit's end because I haven't been able to play it for a year. All other versions of The Sims work perfectly. I found a forum where many people have this same problem, but unfortunately, it’s no longer active (https://forums.ea.com/discussions/the-sims-1-en/sims-1-objects-glitch-/11850932). Can someone please help me? Support claims this is an unknown issue and hasn't been able to help me so far.
