Download content from Sims 3 Store

I recently purchased two packs from the EA Store and successfully redeemed them in The Sims 3 Store. However, when I try to download either pack through The Sims 3 Launcher, the usual installation pop-up does not appear. Additionally, when I hover over other buttons in the launcher after I click the "Install " button, a white overlay appears (makes the buttons almost disappear) , and the interface becomes unresponsive. I've already tried clearing the cache in the EA App and reinstalling The Sims 3 Launcher, but the issue persists. For reference, I’m not using any custom content in my game and I'm using a Mac.
