For some reason i keep getting the error 16 when i’m trying to save the game. I’ve checked what others recommended and tried solbing it that way but with no luck.. everything else is no issie, but only when i’m trying to save. Also when i check the files/documents it’s icon is syncing or waiting for syncronizing? I’m very hopeless with this so i’m in desperate need of help.. i’m on windows 11. help!
Geochan92 The syncing icon is from OneDrive, which may also be the cause of the Error 16. Try pausing syncing before you play. To see the option, right-click the cloud icon in the lower-right corner of the screen, or perhaps hidden in the Tray (^ icon).
If that doesn't help, I would suggest getting rid of OneDrive or at least not allowing it to sync your Sims 3 data. This guide was written for Sims 4, but the approaches are the same:
