'Island Paradise' causing freezing 🥶

I have for some time due to issues with playing with all 6 packs I have causing crashing after a bit of playing, been using a personal rule of playing with only 3 packs, usually been just just world ...

    SimAmbassador​  The only significant issue with Island Paradise is with the world itself, not the rest of the pack's content.  You can always use the content in another world, whether EA or custom.  If you'd like to play in Isla Paradiso, however, you'll need to fix it up or download a fixed version.  The first post of this thread has instructions for editing the world as well as a fixed copy:

    I would also highly recommend this mod for playing in any world with houseboats:

    World Adventures, Ambitions, and Late Night have about as low an impact on performance as expansion packs can, although the world of Bridgeport has some issues too.  Generations and University Life are in the middle; IP is on the more-demanding side.  So since you can play with Generations and UL at the same time, you can probably play with those two plus the first three without taxing the game or your computer all that much.

    Thanks; yeah, adding the pack but not actually playing in the world that comes with it seems to be lacking in freezing... But sucks that I am having to avoid the world... Just taking some households and saving them to the bin to add to a different world... 🤫.. But anyhow, now if I could only figure out why Cara Dregg is such an inherently miserable sim to try to communicate with 😅 

    But yeah, I actually liked the world as much as the stuff. But don't want to deal with constant freezing 🥶... So I guess I will have to compromise of sorts.
