Game launcher crashes when I open the downloads tab in Sims 3, maybe someone has ideas how to fix this problem. I play in Mac. I uninstalled everything and then reinstalled but unfortunately it didn't help. I bought a new world - Roaring Heights Gold Edition but I can't download it in my game when launcher crashes.
Now it says that the entire TheSims3 is available only for Windows :(
If The Sims 3 crashes when you open Downloads:
Close the game and EA App.
Go to Documents\Electronic Arts\
Move the entire The Sims 3 folder to your Desktop (this backs it up).
Start the game again — it will regenerate a clean, fresh folder.
If it opens fine afterward, your old folder had corrupted files.
You can then copy back your Saves or Mods folders one at a time to find what caused it.
Hey, I try to open ''dowloads'' from the Sims3 app yet it keeps crashing and sending an error msg (below). I've heard other users having a similar problem so I wonder how to fix it?

puzzlezaddict it is the downloads tab that crashes and I do have a mac
Grayish66 What crashes? And do you have a Mac? If so, there's a known issue on the newest versions of macOS where the launcher crashes when the player clicks on the Downloads tab:

I purchased the Dragon Valley bundle, and every time I try to download it, it crashes.
Was having issues on my M2 Pro MPB running MacOS26 with the launcher crashing immediately on open. I found forcing an install of Rosetta via the terminal finally fixed the issue and I can now get into the game. Instructions to manually install Rosetta here.
i have the same ! every stuff from TS3 for simpoint.. any help... what to do ?
