Hi, I started having the same problem. It would work if I took everything out so I lost everything. I downloaded EA, all of the games, all store content, and set everything up fresh. Just started a new family and storyline and working on setting up the house. It's been slow and then catching up every few seconds so I save very often. The first few days it was crashing all the time. Today it brought up the following as the OP mentioned above. I can't keep starting all over as it literally takes hours and I wanted to use that time to play. I've cleared the cache, repaired the game, etc. I have a Mac and I play on EA.
