missfelicityk Are you currently seeing the Service Initialization Failed error, and if so, does it help to clear the EA App's cache and repair the game (EA App > Sims 3 > Manage > Repair)? If not, does it help to remove the Sims 3 folder from Documents > Electronic Arts? This would remove, but not delete, your saves and other user data.
I'd be happy to try to help with the other issues too, but the first step is to get the game running.

Yes, it starts perfectly if I remove it, but I've already taken everything down reinstalled everything literally two days ago. I did all that but I already started completely over and a few days later now I have to do all of it again? I have nothing from the last family and towns I'd been working on and no custom content or mods. How can my game get ruined?
Also, I tried to contact EA but it won't connect to chat now even though the transcript says it is. The case number is blank after I click chat and it never connects to a chat. I don't know what to do.

Ok, so I removed the folder from the Documents. I redownloaded everything from the store by going to the Downloads Dashboard and installing everything. Then I transferred the world that was missing back over and put the SavedSims and Saves back in and it worked!
