Sims 3 wont open via EA app

When i click play on TS3 via the EA app the app closes and then reopens a few seconds later, I have tried a reinstall of the EA app, and repairing/reinstalling the game. I have tried a lot of fixes i have found online but cant really find anyone with my issue, this issue is also specific to the sims 3 and the sims 4 launches fine. I am just wondering what I can do I have tried the patch for newer CPU's even though I am on 11th gen. Not sure what to do at the moment as i am a bit stuck..

    gn034​  Please repair the game to undo the effects of the Alder Lake patch, which was never necessary for your CPU and is no longer required for an EA App install anyway.

    For the issue itself, please provide a dxdiag.  Click Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop.  From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.
