As the title states, and after 1 hour of dicking around the Customer Support only to be directed here, I bought 10 EUR bundle and I cannot install it neither on STEAM or on EA App, all help I got from previous forums is to install origin which has been discontinued.
quartoy Please try in a new user folder. Move the entire Sims 3 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts, open the launcher to spawn a new one, and see whether you can install the world. If this doesn't help, delete the new folder, clear Edge's Internet Explorer-mode data (which the launcher uses even if you don't), and try again, this time with a different browser.
Separately, is your Steam base game code registered to your EA account? I know you own the game in the EA App, since your screenshot shows a 1.69 install, but some people have bought it twice, so I need to ask. Point is, if the Steam code isn't registered to your EA account, please use only the EA App install for now.
puzzlezaddict Hi! Thanks for the workaround however I tried deleting all the CC and unfortunately the same error pops up both in origin and steam versions of the game
quartoy Please remove the Downloads folder from Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 3. The files in this folder are no longer needed after you install their contents, but you may not want to delete the folder entirely if you have custom content downloads you don't want to have to track down again.
Open the launcher to create a new Downloads folder, then download one of the worlds and see whether it installs. If this doesn't help, please also let me know how much other Store content you own, as in, whether it would be a burden to have to reinstall all of it. Doing so is more reliable, but there's an intermediate workaround you can try first if it would save a lot of time.
