After the newest The Sims 3 update the game is stuttering A LOT.
I had no problems before the update but now the game is unplayable.
It's a pity because I really liked this game :( I hope there is some whay to fix this.
Does anyone have the same problem after the update?
22199902 Did you make any changes to the game's program files at any point? The patch would have reverted those changes, which could have removed some improvement you'd found. Or you could have reapplied some change after the patch but it didn't work as well this time.
Please also let me know whether you were playing fine right up until the patch, or you hadn't played in a while and came back more recently. What I'm basically asking is, can you be sure that the only change was the patch, because you played immediately before and after; or was there a gap in which there could have been other system changes that affected Sims 3?
I'd like to see a dxdiag as well. Click Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop. From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.
