It’s another snowy morning in Willow Creek as Zach and Mila prepare for their first day of hormone treatment. After a quick breakfast, they head off to the doctor’s office

Once there, they are taken to a room with a nurse who talks them through the process of the injections: after today, Zach and Mila will be doing the injections themselves, so it’s important they know what to do

Zach watches on with support as Mila receives her first shot. She is told to do these once a day, preferably in the morning, and to ensure more traditional baby-making activities happen no sooner than 6 hours later

And that’s it! Just a simple shot (though by Mila’s facial expressions, perhaps not exactly an easy one) and a little rest, then it’s time to head home.
Back in Willow Creek Zach prepares a healthy lunch for them both

It’s a quiet morning the day after Christmas. Zach and Mila both sleep in, tired from their festivities the day before. Eventually Zach wakes up and preps some breakfast for the pair.

Henry and Mila talk a little more about the baby and the house, before talk moves to Penelope. Henry tells Mila how proud Penelope would be of her, and how much she’d have loved to meet her grandchild. He suggests they take a visit to her grave and pay their respects.

Both spend some time telling Penelope about their lives and how much they miss her, before Henry steps away under the pretence of visiting his own parent’s grave so Mila has some time alone. She sits and tells Penelope all about her journey of trying for a baby, and how excited she felt when she found out she was pregnant. She tells her that she misses her, and hopes she’s watching over her.

The estate agent invites them to meet her at the property to go over some details – the seller is keen to sell to a young couple who can raise their family in the house, so Zach and Mila are their ideal buyers! They head to the property and meet with the agent

And are reminded how much they loved this house! After talking to the agent, the couple head to a nearby park to sit and talk things over

The house is a little on the pricier side, meaning that with decorating and adding in a nursery they wouldn’t be left with much, but this home seems worth it…

The house is already vacant so they can move as soon as they want – and they decide tomorrow! Mila will be in her third trimester and ready to give birth at any time, and they want to be ready! So, back at home, Zach prepares some lunch
