Base game needed features/items

CREATE A SIM

  • All miscellaneous skin colors;
  • New hair swatches or Saturation and Brightness sliders;
  • Modest style/fashion filter;

 

  • Likes and dislikes: Reading, Watching TV, Going outside, Chatting, Observing art, Eating, Listening to music, Making items;

 

  • Prosthetic limbs;

     

  • These hairs for adults since they're avaible for kids in base game: 

 

BUILD/BUY

  • Spiral stairs
  • Ramps;

     

  • Elevators;

     

  • Stairs with ramps/Ramps with stairs;

     

  • Convertible stairs;

     

  • Diagonal stairs;

     

  • Cemetry lot type;

 

If you need anything else in base game to make it worth and coherent, what would it be?

  • Not base game but Likes/Dislikes Medium Skill, and Likes/Dislikes Tarot Cards!

    They really should just refresh to overhaul traits/likes/dislikes/improved autonomy/compatibility/attraction/etc. for more cohesion but why it relates to base game, is that many of these features (traits/likes/dislikes/autonomy) start at base game level (or base game traits/skills/activities/etc. were grossly neglected with each new EP feature).

  • I haven't played with just basegame in along time, so I have no idea what's missing from it specifically to make it coherent. Maybe swimmable water in base game worlds, where there is access to the water.

  • After thinking more on it, what I think should be added to base game:

    • (Expanding on OP) More hair colours both fashion and natural. I'd love ultra fair/pastels to highly saturated (or as mentioned in OP if with a saturation/opacity range would be great!). But basically, I am a balayage dark brown to platinum blonde, who tones with various purple/pink dyes to achieve a range of pastel pink or purple hair, iridescent blonde, rose gold, and smokey pink/purple quartz tones. None of that exists in game.
    • Hair effects (base game and beyond), any hair colour that has another colour in it, but changes for each hair selection. I'd like to be able to choose the secondary (or tertiary+), so often I want the offset colour of one swatch but my Sins hair colour has a less attractive one (and you can't have a different coloured hair per outfit, which brings me to...).
    • The ability to have different hair colours per outfit!
    • Apply look to all outfits (having to re-do each section and subsection to all outfits is tedious)
    • Create a "Styled Look" and possibly save to gallery, I have asked for this before. I just love it if we can make our own Styled Looks.
    • Toggle option that autogenerated townies have to wear "Styled Looks" from your library (with the ability to exclude occult styled looks).
    • Toggle option "body stay" so bodies do not lose/gain weight/muscle.
    • One-sided romances, along with moodlets (sentiments if LS), for unrequited love, obsessions, sorry we are just friends, and creeped out. Maybe add a new colour so instead red for the unrequited side it could be purple (for feeling sorry for to creeped out by the other Sim). Could be fueled by traits such as jealous and romantic (so those base game traits could be improved upon).
    • Skill Lock option, to lock before learned (to prevent learning), and lock in place to stop progress as a way to keep Sims more unique.
    • 6 Traits in CAS, I know most people ask for 5, but between the Simology panel and dynasty panel they columns are 2 and 3, and 6 looks perfectly balanced!
    • The ability to add (even cheat wise), other traits while in CAS, Skills in CAS, Careers in CAS, etc.!
    • Add Skill based Careers, with a weekly stipend, total money made tally/stats, and level progression.

    A year ago I came up with an idea about adding likes/dislikes for the book genres: Toddler, Children's, Mystery, Romance, Non-Fiction, Fantasy, Poetry, and Sci-Fi.
