I’ve added a ‘me too’ to this post. I have responded to several fairy request posts over the years and would love to see a new expansion with a new world and underworld, and then a few kits for a massive jump in the level of gameplay (especially if the many and varied ideas are incorporated).
There are so many talented simmers who could collaborate on a new world, as well as the buildings and inhabitants (including all the BB and CAS).
Another way would be to create a sim challenge (with appropriate rewards) for each segment. Then use the community voted favourites to create the basics for the pack while acknowledging the fabulous creations the simming world provided. Logically, it would seem that would reduce the amount of work required for the team while acknowledging the many talented simmers who’s work was entered, and giving satisfaction to so many simmers who have been begging for a fairy (and other occults) pack since the beginning of Sims 4. This has the potential to create the best Sims 4 pack ever released.
With the potentially imminent release of several new simulation games, surely EA will start to finally listen to the players. So many long term players have given up on Sims 4 or even on EA completely. Alienating customers does not seem to be smart business.
EA business plan seems to be focussed on new generations, but this isn’t necessarily wise - if parents/grandparents are alienated, the kids won’t be playing or vice versa! In my family, there were always multiple generations playing Sims (1, 2, 3 and 4). Unfortunately my kids and grandkids have given up on Sims (and some on EA completely) and are playing other games (and of course I am now playing these other games with them). At home, by myself, I tend to now play the earlier Sims games (while I am holding onto the Sims 4 cliff-face with just one finger and praying for survival)! Unfortunately, I fear that we are facing another debacle like SimCity.
