Island Living Refresh?
I think a small refresh for the Island Living pack would be really nice!!!! I would love to see mermaids upgraded to meet the standards of the other occults and have their own perks and more customiz...

So after the Sims Refreshed Spa day Ive been thinking about what else should be updated and heres what I'd personally want to see in island living
- Mermaid skill tree: the other occults get one so the mermaids should to. Each level gives different perk options
- More beach wear: I feel like theres not enough beachy clothing. Theres like no bathing suit cover ups, or good light fabrics. Basically more everyday beach wear
- Shells!!: Make it so you can find and collect shells that wash up on the beach and create a collection. Could make it cross pack compatible and make jewlery
- More build items: Basically items that are ocean themed like sea animal toys for kids, and fish posters
- Diffrent styled mermaid tails: I want more options and fin shapes. It gives some variety to the mermaids you can encounter
- More men's clothing: the men's cas is lacking as usual
- Gills and scales details: more mermaid themed skin details like spits of scales on the body, Gills on the neck or ribs.
- Ears frills and fins: for the ears mermaids could have webbed ears and could have fins on the arms or between the fingers
- Beach toys: toys for kids like beach balls. And the classic bucket and shovel
- Infant stuff: just stuff for them in general with this pack
- mermaid aspirations: you could have two mermaid aspirations, one could be for a siren like mermaid with more villianous goals and then a mermaid aspirations focused around being a guardian of the ocean or something like that
- Mermaid children and toddlers: make it so they get little moodlets based upon being mermaids
- More encounterable animals: during swimming around or diving sims could encounter More sea creatures and interact with them. As the island heals there's more variety that appears
- Siren voice: mermaid sims are able to lure sims into the water with their voices and entrance them
- Drowning: have random encounters where a mermaid can encounter a drowning sim and decide to help or abandon the Sims. The mermaid can also purposefully drown sims
Thats all I could think of for island living off the top of my head, I'll probably add get to works list in the comments
Okay finally onto what id want for a get to work Refresh, now admittingly I dont mess much with get to work besides aliens and ive done a bit with businesses. So this will be a bit more alien centric. Also theres a lot of mods that already do stuff like this so figure out how to properly compensate the modders while still letting them use the content they made.
- Better cas: the cas is very outdated compared to newer packs in quality. It'd be great to see the outfits and hairs get a revamp
- Medical scarring and casts. After surgery sims could get medical scars, and casts
- Wheelchairs and crutches: i know this is a huge stretch for the Sims team but these would so inclusive and nice to see
- Make being a criminal an active career: id think it'd be really cool and go along great with the cop active career
- Make the hospital, science lab, and police station physical you can just visit.
- More serious injuries: kids could get a broken bone while playing, concussions for teen sims during football. Pregnancies could have complications, ect (you can toggle severity and stuff in gameplay settings)
- Speaking of pregnancies, more stuff around them. Have ultrasounds, miscarriage fears,
- Sickness could cause death depending on severity: would give a whole new death type
- Expand magnolia promenade: 4 lots is a crime in of itself
- Alien skill tree: let them have skills around being an alien
- Make sixam more interesting: it doesnt feel alien enough, make it so theres alien fish in the ponds or maybe animals that can be put in a terrarium like frogs. We can live on special lots in sixam as residential, ect.
- Alien eyes: aliens could have a third or fourth eye, more eye types in general, unique shapes. Maybe even a single eye
- Antennae: I desperately want to see multiple antennae types you can give aliens. Unique shapes lengths and colors. I want all of it, some could be just thin while others have end bits or are fluffy like moths. Some could form shapes. They can face foward back or to the side.
- Body color: give them more body color options and patterns they can have on their skin. Maybe give them a paint mode
- Alien themed bb: have toys, and objects that are alien themed like posters and stuff for pop culture.
- Glowing markings: it'd be so fun to give aliens glowing spots
- Tails: you could add tail options to make sims even more uniquely alien
- new ear types: i like the point elf ears but theres so many cute long ears you could do
- Alien hair: maybe have some hairstyles that look unnatural or alien, out of this world if you would
- More alien clothes, the single alien outfits kind of sad, make there diffrent design ones
- Loreee: we know about the pollinators, but maybe theres diffrent factions of aliens, (with their own uniforms and stuff), you could townie aliens that are from the diffrent factions
- Also on lore more interactions of sims being possibly suspicious of weird acting sims of being vampires, or funnier if you have get famous there will be conspiracies that celebrity sims are actually aliens
- Horns: diffrent horns and spikes for aliens would be pretty cool to see. Or stuff like body spikes or ridges.
Honestly I just want to make my aliens feel alien, and not just like recolored sims its sad. Next ill probably do Werewolves which is newwwww but I like occults and want them to be as good as they can be. I'll reply with that next
