Personal Selection Feature for the MUSIC in CAS/BUY/BUILD Mode

Unfortunately, I have to mute this music to zero and use other sources like Lofi. I'm not sure what others think of the music in BUILD/BUY/CAS, but this is my opinion on it. I used to enjoy the music in The Sims 2, and I had no complaints because I liked everything. It seemed suitable, however the music in Sims 4 build/buy/cas mode is pretty obtrusive and obnoxious, and I can't tolerate it after a time.

Today I want to talk about the music you (Sims-Team) use for us in CAS/BUY/BUILD. Simmers, do you feel the same? I hope it will change at some point. It's not a big deal for most, I assume, but it is a vital component of the game. Feedback is appreciated.

At the Sims Team: Whoever is in control of musical selection. I think you should conduct a survey on the music in build/buy/cas and ask us what sort of music we want to hear when building and creating new Sims. I bet it would be insightful. As I'm quite sure that many love a bunch of tracks, but many can't hear them anymore and just want to turn them off or wish, like I do, to be able to unselect the tracks we dislike. 😉 Please consider it! 😌

First of all, there are music tracks that I absolutely love. A ton are timeless and we have a lot. It's not that I dislike all tracks we have when I'm in CAS/BUY/BUILD Mode. However, with each ongoing pack (since Get Famous in particular), there was music I despised so much that I had to mute all tracks and use other sources when building or creating Sims. As there are a handful of tracks I just dislike and don't enjoy, particularly ones with voices and the loud and fast-paced ones.

When I build, I want to do that in a peaceful, calm, and chill environment. Preferably lofi music but as I mentioned, I love a ton of tracks the Sims 4 has. I wish it would have more Sims-Lofi vibes instead of the loud, vocal, and fast-paced ones.

An alternative would be to deactivate the ones you dislike, just as you can with the radio station's music. Why isn't this a thing? Instead of muting the music, I wish I could select my favorites for each pack. As I can do that for the radio stations and each genre. We need the same list for each pack with their respective tracks that we can uncheck.

Conclusion: Yes, I'm aware! We do have the option to turn it off or reduce the tone of the music. Despite that, we cannot choose which ones we dislike while keeping the ones we love and enjoy.

IMPORTANT TO NOTE: Keep in mind, this is just my personal preference! I don't like loud and vocal music when building. And this is how I feel about the music we have in buy/build/cas. But this shows that every human being has a different taste and view of what they would prefer and why this feature would need to be added, in my opinion. 😉

Packs before Get Famous are good and I love them pretty much all but since Get Famous, it has gotten strange. Based on my personal taste, here are a couple I truly dislike and wish I could deactivate and I will tell you why:

Get Famous
- the vocal ones

StrangerVille
- the fast annoying one

Realm Of Magic
- the vocal ones—just can't stand it anymore. 

Eco Living
-  again the fast ones

Snowy Escape
- Sadly this one has some fast-paced ones, which are quite annoying when building after a while—as much as I love this music. But NOPE - I wish I could delete them. 🙉

My Wedding Stories
- OMG the fast ones are—yeah, on repeat, just annoying. ☠️

Werewolves
- Love this pack but the vocal AAAAAAAAAh makes me want to scream AAAAAH after a while. 💀Again, nope, dislike it.

High School
- The ones with guitar, and the guitar with vocals "AAAAh and Uuuuuhs" again. 😖Just noooo, it's too much drama when I want to hear chill sounds.

Basegame
- at some point it got some faster ones after High School or so, I'm not sure. But I wish I could deactivate especially the one with the squeaky duck sounds
- the rattle music one—just horrible! Why was this necessary? 😣

Growing Together
- The fast ones again are quite annoying
- The one with the trumpet or whatever that is—it hurts my ears.

Horse Ranch
- And again the fast-paced ones and the dadada and the whistle voice
- Actually, I dislike all from this pack and wish I could turn them off

For Rent
- the fast-paced ones, again

Lovestruck
- the fast ones

Life & Death
- all the vocal ones, as much as I love them but you can't hear it after a while, even if they are beautiful
- they get also too loud
- some are mid-paced, still too fast for my taste

Business & Hobbies
- The vocal ones again—please stop adding them; they are annoying and intrusive
- the fast-paced ones, yet again.

Enchanted By Nature (I'm assuming, as it is not out yet)
- I fear this one will have also some new "aaahs" and "uuuuhs" with vocals
- I hope not; Please tell me it won't have fast-paced ones yet again.

And there is this one I don't know with which pack that came with but it sounds like aggresive Carnival/March music—the most horrible one. I'm from Germany. However, I do like Carnival, yet it does not mean that I want to hear that kind of music in my game all year when I want to chill and build my builds or create new Sims. 

Please think about adding them to the SETTINGS and let us pick the tracks we want to hear for each pack when we build or create Sims.
