Sims 4 Pack Idea

I was looking for CC and a lot of alternative outfits were coming up and it made me think about what an entire pack like that would be like and when I sat and thought about it, that idea becoming an entire packs worth and I really want it to exist now :(

Sims 4 - Alternative Pack

• World
• Could be a grungy world with a lot of graffiti decorations.
• Apartment building with a lot of bring/graffiti because it used to be a factory. 
• Clubs (some underground, some normal nightclubs, others out of disused factories etc). Could have notice boards that tell you when certain bands are playing. 
• A park that has a fountain in the middle where rallies could take place. There could also be a notice board in the park to sign up to different volunteer activities/charities etc. 
• Could be a ‘tunnel’ like the graffiti tunnel in London - could be built on a large lot and you have to go down into the ‘basement’ to access the tunnel - this could be a place that you get invited to underground raves at - like the ruins in the other pack. 
• Could have certain walls in public places that you can interact with and graffiti (like how you have rock climbing walls in snowy escape) 
• Maybe have a market where there are volunteer/charity booths, people busking and selling their own art. 
• Maybe have a concert venue where you can go and see bands. Maybe bars where if your sim is in a band you could get hired to play gigs at the cheaper/emptier bars until you work your popularity up to being famous and booking the concert venue.  
• Could be an art gallery where people can request to have their art shown - could be an event like the award shows in get famous, where you get invited and show your work. 
• Could maybe be a certain graffiti wall in the world where the most famous graffiti artist can use it and have their work viewed. 
• Could have a gentrified ‘hipster’ area where the alternative people don’t like going. 
• Could be a shelter where the teens that run away from home can live until they earn enough money to get a house or they go back home. 
• Aspirations
• Creative
• Add band/DJ aspirations in the music section - Maybe have to get their skills in certain instruments up, then have to post on simstagram about their band/DJ skills (maybe videos) and have to get so many fans. Could have to book so many gigs. Maybe have to become friends with band members. Could maybe eventually have to find a manager. Could have to start playing at smaller/emptier bars and then work your way up to bigger venues. Could maybe be approached by managers after shows that could offer to represent them. Could have to burn and sell so many CDs (could be a new option on the computer to burn CDs. 
• Artist - Maybe have underground artist - could have to build your art skill first, maybe view so many pieces of graffiti or go to so many art galleries. Could maybe have to talk to so many people about your art (or maybe have to have some of your art in your inventory and have to interact with people and show so many people a certain number of different art pieces). Could still have the having to create when inspired/create so many masterpieces. Could maybe split after the first level or two and have either graffiti artist or private artist.
• Private artist - could have to rent a booth at the park and sell so many pieces of art. Could have to open a small business to sell art. Could have to paint so many masterpieces. Could have to have so many pieces of art shown in a gallery. 
• Grafitti artist - have to illegally graffiti so many times. Have to sell so many pieces. Could maybe have to try and get onto the famous graffiti wall - maybe have to stay relevant and on the wall for so many days (so have to keep up with painting on the wall and also have a social interaction where you can encourage people to visit) 
• Social activism - have to reach the top of the social activist career. Have to sway so many people to your course. Have to hold so many rallies. Completing this could give your sim the ability to help other sims with their negative moodiest - so they could console grief for example and it would stop your sim from being stuck in the very sad moodlet. 
• Teen
• Alternative - could have to choose/discover a lifestyle. Could have to make so many friends that shared that lifestyle. Could have to graffiti so many walls. Could have to get a tattoo. Could have to go to so many raves/concerts. Could have to complete the collection. Could have to go to so many activist rallies.

• Skills
  • Bass Guitar
  • Drums
  • Graffiti - Have two options on easel - graffiti or painting - so there can be a graffiti skill (though can also build it by doing it on walls). 
• Careers
  • Band - would need instrument skill and writing skill. would have levels to career. Levels 1 - 3 would work the same as actress career so would have to start off booking cheap gigs playing at parties. Would be covering other songs. Would have to post so many simstragam recordings of their music. Levels 4 - 5 would have to write so many songs of their own for each level to make their own sets. Could have to talk to bartenders to be able to request playing at their venue - but would have to build a certain level of friendship with them to be allowed to (they would maybe required to play at so many gigs before they will get promoted from level 4. Won’t get promote from level 5 unless they have a manager) would also have to hand out so many fliers/make so many simstagram posts to advertise their band.. Levels 6 - 7 (wouldn’t get promote from level 6 until have at least three famous stars) would now be invited to play gigs (similar to the video requests for influencer) would have to write more of their own music for each level. Can release albums. 8 — 9 (wouldn’t get promoted from 8 until 4 famous stars) - would now be contacted to perform at the concert venue, this would be a gig that goes on for every evening for a week and would pay a lot. Would require them to write new songs for each concert. Would have to perform so many concerts to get promote. Level 10 - five star celebrity - no longer required to perform as getting a lot of money from sales, but can perform if they want to keep their celebrity level up. 
  • Talent Manager - could need the entrepreneur and charisma skills. Maybe once you reach level two or three it could be a semi-interactive job. Once a week would have to visit venue/booths/buskers to interact with artists/musicians and build your relationship with them and convince them to sign on with you. Could maybe be something you could optionally do if you want to boost your performance or to earn bonuses. Maybe once you hit level 7 you don’t have to interact anymore and instead you are contacted by bands that want representation. 
  • Social Activist - could be similar to the conservation job. Could require daily mentions of social activism to people. Could require them to get so many signatures from people. Could require them to throw fundraisers. Could maybe have interactions with celebrities where you can ask them to support the cause. Could have to have so many rallies in the park. Could have an interaction similar to the throne in the royal career where you can go to certain volunteer activities/missions. Could maybe have to visit bars and check notice boards for when bands are playing and speak to the bartender to request if you can give a speech before the band plays.
  • Social Worker - Could have a boost in the career when starting if you got the conflict resolution trait as a child/teen or have a relevant uni career. Could be interactive. Could be similar to the doctor career where you have to talk to each family member and then investigate the rooms of the house to decide whether the child is safe enough to stay in the home. Could have certain children be difficult and refuse to answer your questions so you have to talk to them about other things a few times before asking again. 
• Groups
  • Bands - could make your band and create outfits for each of your band members. 
• Cas
  • More punk/goth/metal/grunge/rock clothing, make-up and hairstyles.
  • Could pick your lifestyle - socially conforming/goth/metal/grunge/punk etc - could have to select whether your sim is accepting of other lifestyles or not accepting. This could change if they make enough friends of alternative people or if they are convinced to open their mind by someone close to them. 
  • Could have a polyamorous romance selection - could have to choose whether they’re open to it or not and whether they’re willing to change their minds.
• Build
  • More punk/goth/rock/metal/grunge decor. 
  • Could introduce drums and bass guitar - could have child versions of them as well. 
  • Maybe could have a video camera on a tripod that you can set up to record your band/DJ and post to simstagram. 
  • Could have a booth to sell art, like the booths to sell food. 
  • Could have a bigger easel that people can graffiti on. 
  • Could maybe have an interactive printer where you have to take a picture of your artwork and have it in your inventory and then select - print so many print (could be small/medium/large just like photos and could be priced different - all of them cheaper than the original. 
  • Tape recorder/mic to record music that will go in your inventory so you can burn and sell CDs of your music. 
  • Notice boards - could be one for social activism and another for bands. 
  • Could have a bed big enough for 3 or 4 people. 
• Collections
  • Could have graffiti prints
  • Could have band pins
  • Could have social activism pins. 
  • could have patches - these could either be added to a jacket that your sim can actually where or maybe added to a jacket that can be hung on the wall or on a mannequin or something. or the patches could just be put on walls? I'm not sure but I'd like a way to display them. 
• Extra Ideas
  • For the lifestyle
    • could either change it in cas or could have it so that people are born/made automatically socially conforming and would have to listen to music/wear certain clothes/hang out with certain people for a pop up of a lifestyle choice to come up. 
    • This could be a formative moment for kids, similar to the enthusiast one, where they have to listen to certain music and read certain books/magazines etc to figure out what speaks to them. Either one of the lifestyles would come up as a pop up and they’d select yes to the change or the player could just change it in cas. The child would then have to wear an outfit for that lifestyle. Having this could increase their empathy by a lot, let them have higher relationships easier with alternative people and progress quicker in social activism and social worker careers. 
    • Would build relationships easier with people with the same lifestyle and harder to build the socially conforming ones. 
    • Socially conforming people. 
    • Could have the option to leave the lifestyle, but the people still in that lifestyle would have a more negative view of them/make fun of them/be harder to build relationships with and their current relationship would go down, as they would be viewed as sell outs. 
    • Could have a social interaction with socially conforming people that allows you to try and convince them to be more open minded (would only work if you have a good relationship with them) - this could be good for alternative kids with socially conforming parents/grandparents.
    • Teenagers in the alternate lifestyle could have the option to run away from home. Unlike just moving your teenager out, this puts them in the shelter and would make their relationship with their family would drop 50%
    • If the socially conforming sims aren’t open minded they could react negatively/shocked to alternative sims. 
    • Could have a rivalry between sims who are metal and punk, making them harder to build relationships with each other. 
  • Running away
    • The shelter would be a place where there are beds with other runaway teens and staff like a caterer/janitor. They would have no money to start with. 
    • They would only have a certain length of time to earn enough money to move out before they are also automatically added back to their family’s home and their relationship with their family would become fully red and be very difficult to rebuild. 
    • They could work on their family relationship and ask to move back in or their parents could call them to ask them to move back. This depends on the level of friendship when they ran away. If the relationship bar was full and dropped 50% they’d still be friends so their parents could call them to ask them to move back. If it dropped and the bar was empty or in the red, this could require the to visit often to build up the relationship before they can ask to move back home. 
• Could have activist rallies/events during uni and an activist group you could join, like the robotics club. 
• Could have to visit rallies in the park to get different activist pins or could go to the activist event and buy a few of the more common ones at the stall. 
• Could be boxes in different bars that you can rummage to get band pins, or you can get them sometimes when going to see a band. 
• Could be an activist afterschool club - could have an event like the sports/cheerleading events, where there are speeches on a stage. Could have a stall with things to buy, such as pins and activist T-Shirts. Getting to the top of this club could give you a scholarship for uni. 
• If you are caught doing graffiti on a wall in public you will get told off and told to stop, but could possibly mean you get fined/arrested if you’re caught doing it (maybe your sim is taken away and you can’t interact with them for a time (like when a sim is at work) - maybe if this happens a popular comes up and you get the option to call someone and pay your bail, but if you’re not close enough to them or if you have a strict relationship with your parents, they could refuse. If it happens to your only sim, then you can try to call a friend, but if they don’t pay, there’s a pop up to skip to the day they’re released. Or maybe there could also be an option for community service - this could give so many hours/days you have to do it in the career section and require you to garden/pick up trash (similar to how you can clean up the ocean in Sulani) - could also require you to have meetings with your community service officer.  
• Punk/metal/grunge lifestyle sims would want to listen to music and go to concerts etc.
• Have some magazines and books suited for certain lifestyles that the sims in that lifestyle might get a Want to read.
• Romance
  • could have to ask a sim if they're okay with open relationships. if they are then your sim can date others without the first getting jealous or it effecting your relationship at one. if they're not and your sims dates them anyway, they can still get dumped and hated for cheating. 
  • could have bigger beds so 3 or 4 people could sleep in them. 
  • could have the option to make someone your permanent partner which would be akin to having another spouse and if accepted a pop up would come up asking if you want to merge the households just like when your sims get married. 
  • could have the option to suggest to one of your romantic partners to start dating another of your romantic partners so that you're in a truly polygamous relationship instead of an open one. 
  • could maybe have the science baby option give you a choice to choose multiple partners - this could either be so that you can do it without knowing who actually biologically contributed or maybe it could even mix the genetics of all of them.
