Pay to Own, for those who may not be able to drop that much money in one lump. But only if it is really an issue for those who can't buy packs as they can afford it.
I hate, hate, hate, all the money I put into app games that died, and I can't play anymore even offline. And the money I dumped into WoW (and I was an end gamer top 1-10 guilds on server and had some rare bling), just to have the game have an update/change that I can't revert or skip, it's no longer is the same game anymore, and I wasted so much on expansions (and subscription money) I can't do anything about.
