!!!time frozen sims stuck cant save cant exit unless I force quit

Started happening after updating the game, boards from my shop disappeared and unable to place them back with "script call failed" pop up. Cant drag and drop anything, build mode randomly copies what I put duplicating everything.  Random times in the game it would just freeze time and the sims I can't even reset my sim or even save it before I quit so I lose all actions ive made prior having to save every single time in case it happens again and since yesterday only 3 minutes into the game it starts to lag and freeze making it unplayable which is frustrating AF! Totally regret doing the update but had no choice since it was automatic and couldn't play without update now I cant play at all!!!! You guys should do a test run first before uploading update patches that crap doesnt work and now I hate y'all even more. Fix it and stop putting stuff weren't double checked if working. SMH!!!!
