We can’t sell our duplicate made foods (using prepped ingredients)???

My Sims often have bakeries and I’ve enjoyed having shops where they sell things or selling things off to a local bakery. Often times my Sims Max out in the culinary career and their foods don’t expire and I take great pride in making as many foods as possible for my Sims to sell. I really like the convenience of the prepped ingredients in the mixer reducing cooking time and I think it’s cool that the Sims make double the food. However, in my experience in the game, I cannot sell this food. I cannot sell it to a bakery or sell it in my store or even sell it from my inventory and so this food feels like a waste because I have to just put it in my Sims fridge or keep it in her inventory and she eats it or I gift it to other Sims, however what’s the point of having duplicate made products if you can’t sell the duplicate or even sell it from your inventory?
