don't know if you are experiencing a bug or not but, getting a dominating moodlet can be frustrating.. I had to with mine is, try stacking moodlets that lasted a longer amount of time or removing temporarily anything that could be causing conflicting moodlets in the area of the table because your sim needs to be fully inspired during the duration of the project. "Carls Sims Guide" has a list of every item that gives inspirational moodlet.
