Adults with toddlers autonomy issue

Hi :-)

I decided to ask the question here since I didn't find something about it, and I am a bit hopeless lol

I wanted to know if it's only on my computer or if others have an issue with how stupid are adults acting with toddlers too.

I ask my sim to clean up his toddler at the sink a few times in the same row. I expect him to get the baby, hold him, go to the sink, clean him up the x time I asked, and then put the baby down.

Instead, he's getting the baby, hold him, go to the sink, cleans him up, walk away, put the baby down on the ground, wait, hold the baby again, go to the sink, cleans him up, walk away, put the baby down, wait, hold the baby again...

Same with putting the toddler into the crib or in the chair. He takes the baby, go to the crib, put the baby into the crib, wait, take the baby again, and put him down on the ground.

It's a bit infuriating to see my sims not doing what I told them to do by acting stupid.

Is there any solution for that? Honestly, this issue don't make me want to play again. It's a shame. I don't have any mod or CC. I already cleared my cache and repaired my game.
