Are Mermaid Sims Immune To Weather?

I think it's dumb if mermaids can die of heat or cold, since they would probably be immune to heat since they stay in water and they would freeze to death if they need to swim but its winter. I can't find anything saying if they are or aren't immune to weather though sadly so I don't know.
