auto infant care

How do i turn off so my sim don't automatically help or do anything without me doing so.

Like when i just want to give my infant a bath the automatically want to cuddle and everything and fills the do list so i can't click on like the toilet because the bar is full of infant care when i really just want to take care of their basic most important needs, so my infant/baby don't get taken away.

I just think that Infants are not that hard to take care off it's just that my sim just as my baby/infant is crying the fil the do list with all the care stuff and checking and i don't want that.

It's the same with babies.

I just want it to be like the babies was before the infant update.

  • @Mollan1919 I'm sad to be able to say that is not possible at all to do that, as far as I know: when an infant cry, all the sims in a good relationship with him will try to help him, causing the matters that you are experiencing, I know.
My only solution to avoid the matters at the moment is to keep just one older sim in the same household that has to take care of the infant.
  • I'm running into similar issues with this too. I have to keep resetting my adult sim because they keep getting stuck doing infant care things. My biggest issue is that when I try to put the baby in the crib to sleep, my sim keeps wanting to take them out immediately. Even if I set them up to walk away and do something immediately after, they still get the infant out of the crib and just put them on the ground. Getting very frustrating and makes me not want to play with infants anymore.

  • Even if the infant is content and being cared for already, my other sims will pick up the infant for no reason! I have had one sim feeding the infant in the high chair only for the other parent to come and take the infant out of the chair as soon as the other has finished with one food but is trying another type (so this action has already been set up), just to place the infant on the floor. By the time I have the infant fed because of all this back and forth, they are exhausted and no one had a chance to play with them.

I have tried to keep my other sim doing something else in hopes that they might stop, but my one sim legit woke up from sleep despite being extremely tired just to take the infant from the high chair and put him on the floor while my other sim was feeding him.... so...
