Blank options and 3 dot options at the wedding arch during a wedding

Okay so, I was going to get 2 of my sims who were engaged married and so I planned a wedding. The problems began when my sims travelled to the wedding location (I have my wedding stories by the way) and their inventory was just gone, completely wiped. I was like "Okay, I'll just reload" and I did, I went and reloaded and I left the most important things on their inventory at home so I wouldn't lose anything that was important. The problems continued when my sims who were right next to eachother couldn't exchange their vows because "Your partner isn't here invite them over" or something and on top of that some of the options on the wedding arch were completely blank and/or just 3 dots and it seemed like It only happens when a wedding was happening. 

I really thought the root cause was my mods, so I removed all of them and repaired my game. The problems continued, so I thought that my save file was corrupted, I created a new one with no mods, the problems continued. I unistalled and installed my game and began a new save file with no mods, the problems continued. Please someone help me, I don't know if this is the game's fault or my fault. I just want to fix this issue and get my sims married, I did everything I could and I don't know what else could possibly be going wrong.
