Blast from the Past Event: Blocked from Progressing (Crashing/..)

I did Week 2 of the Blast from the Past Event and the game kept crashing multiple times as I progressed through the quests. Unfortunately, just after I completed all the quests for the week and unlocked the reward objects, the game crashed and I could only open my save at a point where my quests hadn't fully finished yet. And now I have three Time Shards in my inventory I can't interact with at all, since the game considers the quests complete and I can't pick up the quest from the crash. Does anyone know of a way to reset my Event progress so I can start Week 2 all over again and get it right?

Hello! My game did the same on week 2. Deleted the accountDataDB.package file with no luck. No option to buy/replace on my mailbox, bought another and still no option. I haven’t been able to dig up the right metals again and cannot buy the milk cartons 🙁

Did you check the mailbox if you can buy the shards ?

This just happened to me as well. All my rewards show as claimed but I've lost them all and cant complete the last task. I'm not sure what to do. Start all over?

Did you wait a bit for the pop-up to appear ? Did you delete the file to see if that fixes it ?

There have been no reports so far of that issue cropping up again so you're the first one :D

I've got stuck in the middle of the first week's tasks. I completed the first part and the rewards unlocked, but the second part didn't open. Neither did the second week... I had the same issue with the cozy event, but I don't remember if there was a fix that I did or if EA fixed the issue. I had to do all the tasks again that time...

Try if deleting accountDataDB.package helps in this case.

If not, you can try to buy the shards from the mailbox with another Sim.
