Blast from the past event not showing up

My other quests (discovery quests) are also gone though even after resetting. Are they also only available for a limited time?

Bumping this issue!! The Blast from the Past event and my other quests aren't showing up :( It happened after I rebooted the game after a day. My gallery is working fine. I disabled/re-enabled mods, reset/re-enabled discovery quests (which did nothing), moved my sim to another lot, created a new save (which also didn't show any quests), and verified game files on Steam. I still have the quest items in my inventory and old notifs for The Blast from the Past but I can't do anything with them anymore. 

I had this, too. I removed all my mods and disabled mods, removed all the cache files, etc and nothing was working. I tried 'resetting' the laptop in my sim's home with shift+click and that didn't do anything. then I tried just deleting the laptop and buying a new one, but for some reason it wouldn't allow me to place a computer on any table or counter in my home, regardless if there was other items on them or not. 

What finally worked was travelling with my sim to another lot (i just chose a random empty lot) and going into BB and buying a table and computer on that lot. For some reason, even though I didn't restart the game, it let me place the computer on the new lot and let my sim use it with no problem. It's really stupid, but I would try it out.

I've tried a repair on EA and I'm playing on a PC!

Did you try a game repair ? What platform are you playing on ?

I've got the same problem. I don't have any mods installed, social features are on and the gallery is working fine. I really hope they fix this problem soon!
