Build Mode Broken!!

I have noticed that when I enter build mode, my grid will disappear and no matter how many times I press "G" it will not show up. I have restarted the game, restarted my laptop and repaired my game 10 times in just the last 20 minutes!!! This is so not ok EA, I have been an avid Sims player since the Sims 1 and have never been this disappointed before. After restarting the game this last time, my game was stuck on the loading screen for an hour. How is EA not fixing this ASAP? It's either they truly don't care about us as players or enjoy being ridiculed.

EA FIX THE GAME.

    Move your Mods folder to the Desktop and delete localthumbcache.package. Then test the game in a new save.
    If it works now check for updates to your Mods and CC. Add it back a little at a time while testing until you have found all that are broken.

    Appreciate the suggestion! :) but there are no mods in my folders, I already took them all out before updating the game. Learned my lesson the hard way lol
