Build mode not working, neither is save

I have been trying to extend my house in build mode. It will let me move a few walls, but then it glitches and won't let me move the wall or even delete anything with the sledgehammer. I then try to save the game, and it will not leave the saving screen/ finish saving. I have to force quit my app. 

I have repaired the game, removed mods, restarted the game, you name it, it has been done.
