Buildmode keeps crashing

Hello everyone,

While I was playing the sims I'm having an issue with building. I'm trying to remodel a kitchen and whenever I try to replace the cabinets, it keeps crashing and kicking me out of the entire game. I play on my laptop on steam. I try verifying the files nothing works, as well resetting my laptop didn't work as well. I try to look if anything is wrong with the Sims 4 files and can't seem to figure out what the issue is. I only have two mods install and that's it. Currently stump at the moment as I don't know why my game continues to crash whenever I try to replace a cabinet. And the only pack I use for the kitchen is the home chef hustle pack.
