[BY DESIGN] [DU] [GRO] Sims riding their bikes through building interiors

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)
What is your current game version number? 4
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All expansion, game and stuff packs are installed.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Through Discover University and Eco Lifestyle.
What happens when the bug occurs? Sims will ride their bikes right through houses, bars and businesses, rather than parking them outside. This only happens about 70% of the time. (Other times, they do park outside and place the bike in their inventory.) Sometimes the sim will even remove the bike from their inventory, place it in the middle of an interior, and bike away and out through any doors leading to outside. There is also a selection to 'bike here' to a spot indoors.
What do you expect to see? I'd just like to see sims parking outside, or anything to stop them from riding their bike through a building, I'd also prefer that sims can't equip their bikes indoors.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No

As shown: the 'bike here' option and a sim riding their bike through a bar.

Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.96.365.1030
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All except Journey to Batuu and Spooky.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? While your child sim is inside, have child sim practice riding bike. Also occurs when child sim and/or adult sim is inside and request to have adult sim teach child sim how to ride bike.
What happens when the bug occurs? Child sim rides the bike inside, clipping into everything as if it is not there.
What do you expect to see? Child sim and/or adult sim go outside to practice riding bike or teaching to ride bike.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.

Please describe the patch or change you made. installed Growing Together.

Additionally, whether riding the bike inside or outside, sometimes one leg can get stuck in a straight position. This does not happen all the time compared to riding inside if the interaction is requested while the sim is inside.

I keep finding my child sim practicing riding their bike (autonomously) inside the house. I’ve seen them cycle through walls, the fireplace, and straight through a crib where an infant was sleeping.

An adult sim was mentoring them I think.

I wasn’t sure if it was a bug or a kid thing? Lol.

@geniilegend Yes, they go through everything. It does not matter if they are being mentored or not. The only exception is when I have them practice riding the bike very far away from the house. Even then they still go through plants and trees.
  • I'm seeing them ride through the karaoke bar before leaving, and the kids are even riding them through the treehouses when learning.

  • I still have this problem. Children ride up the foundation of a house and through the walls.
