CAS: Infinite Loading Screen (08/04/2024)

Hello! 

I have encountered a perticular issue with CAS. I am able to create a new households/ new game in CAS. Additionally, I am able to edit households in CAS from manage households, expect if the sims are university students. Lastly, regardless of the status of the sim, when interacting with wardrobe/dresser, i.e. “change sim” / “plan outfit,” I am stuck in an infinite loading screen for CAS. 


Please note, all mods have been updated, and are only four mods in my game.

    @adaobiix Please move your mods folder to the desktop, delete Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > localthumbcache and then try again on a backup of your save,

    Can you explain little more because I did just that but I think I’m doing wrong

    @matherswendy Infinite loading screens have many many causes.

    When do you get yours ?

    Why do you think you did it wrong ? It's pretty straight forward.

    @crinrict Hi, how do you backup backup? Could you explain yourself better? I have the same problem and I haven't been able to play for about 2 weeks

    @7668faba221862ee Either copy the file or use save as to make a new file.

    Backups is a commonly used term for a copy of your files you save somewhere else for safekeeping.
