so a few months after i found out i could use custom content for the sims 4, i was really enjoying it. but one day, i deleted the sims 4 (for whatever reason i cant remember). i recently redownloaded...
@edgarvaldenpee Yes, that's exactly what I meant, and it makes the issue clear. This Mods folder is on the desktop, where the game can't read it. Your mods need to go into Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Mods, nowhere else.
