I created a unique shape to a room so I didn’t create it as a styled room. When I click on the room, the ceiling prompt doesn’t come up. I’m just wondering how I can create a ceiling. Thanks
I can't see a yellow line. Is there another way?
@Lodiap12 Hello! Please share some screen grabs of your lot so we can see what is happening. You could also save the lot and upload it to the Gallery for us to test; name it something like "Ceiling Problem" to make it easy to find and so other players know there is a problem.
Just to clarify, in order to build a ceiling the room must be fully enclosed. Check to make sure your room that needs a ceiling has all the walls connected. I've added some examples below.
Here is an example with an enclosed room on the left and a partial room on the right. I can select the enclosed room by clicking on the floor or a wall in the room (showing an outline of the room with arrows and extra options). I can't select the room on the right because it's a partial room (it's missing part of a wall).
When I page up or use the up arrow in the upper right corner to go to the second floor putting me at ceiling level, I'm able to get that yellow line for the enclosed room that is selected.
When I enclose the partial room by adding the wall, I can now select that room and see the yellow line for the ceiling.
