Cottage Living- EA Desktop

I use the EA desktop app because I have the Xbox game pass and that includes EA play. This is how I play the Sims 4. I would like to purchase the Sims 4 Cottage Living expansion, but it doesn't show ...

Just figured out the fix for this issue after being with customer support for a couple of hours.
You can get Cottage Living without it being on the EA Desktop with Game Pass Ultimate. My fix was, buying the base game off of Origin (It's super cheap atm) and also Cottage living.
Because EA and Origin are merged together, any game packs you have bought through the EA Desktop app will be playable whenever you launch Sims4.
**I had bought Cottage Living w/o buying the Sims4 base game and it would say I didn't own it and needed to buy it. Even though, in my order history I had bought it and it said I did own it. Buying the base game fixed this issue**

I’m having the same issue I have both version of sims 4 on my laptop but ea desktop is not registering cottage living as a pack that’s already purchased
