Do you think the sims 4 needs a Supernatural pack like sims 3? 2021

I think the sims 4 needs a Supernatural pack because I know there are mods for this but I am not good at computers and don't actually understand the whole file stuff and tried my best to understand and download the mod but it still does not work and I still don't understand it. I know the sims 4 is very busy with their very AMAZING new packs but I would be very happy if the sims 4 make a Supernatural pack in their time when they can. I think there would be more people with the same problem as me. If that is so, please comment back. Thanks for taking your time to read this I very much appreciate it and I also took my busy day to write this so it makes me very happy that you read this!

  • @DaynaSw11 , I do want more Supernaturals, but I don't want a Supernatural pack that has all the supernaruals jammed into one pack.  I much prefer having them separate!  That way we get fully fleshed, detailed supernaturals.  I love the detail put into the Vampires (from the Vampires Game Pack) and the Spellcasters (from the Realm of Magic Game Pack)! 🥳 That is in stark contrast to the Aliens (that came with the Get to Work Expansion Pack) and the Mermaids (that came with the Island Living Expansion Pack) ! 😢

    The gameplay with Aliens and Mermaids is very shallow compared to that of the Vampires and Spellcasters.  Aliens and Mermaid were included in packs that had a lot of other elements that had nothing to do with them While they look fantastic, I don't enjoy playing with them half as much as I do with Vampires and Spellcasters who each got an entire pack dedicated to them!

    And my favorite supernatural are the Fairies, but even though they would have been perfect for the theme of the upcoming Cottage Living Expansion Pack, I was relieved that they weren't included because if they ever do put them in the game, they can then give them their own pack and they can be more detailed and have fully developed gameplay! 🙌 🧚‍♀️🧚‍♂️

    Also, if you aren't very good with tech stuff, and you want to use Mods or Custom Content (CC) then it would be best of you talked to someone who is knowledgeable with technical aspects like these.  Very often, people just put in a Mod or CC  and don't realize there is maintenance with them .  Whenever there is a patch to the game, your Mods and CC have a chance of being outdated, That means if you have to get rid of the outdated version and check back with whomever made it to see if they have a version updated to be compatible with the latest version of the game.  You also have to delete the localthumbcache.package file (found in your game folder by going to Documents > Electronic Arts> The Sims 4) because that file can hold bits of corrupted information that can cause problems in your game, even if you update all your Mods/CC!

    If you have a bunch of Mods/CC you have to also search for which item is causing the problem, so having a lot of Mods or CC items can make this task tedious! 😞 I used to use Mods and CC but haven't with the Sims 4 because I'm not the type of person who wants to spend a lot of time going through a lot of CC items to find which one is causing problems. 😞 (and in previous versions of the Sims I had a lot of CC items! 😳 ) I got tired of the upkeep and so they caused problems in my game, so I don't use them anymore.  However there are many people who use a lot of them and don't mind maintaining them. 😎  So, if you decide to use them, just be sure to do all the upkeep they need, and also talk with others have have experience with them! 😉

    @valohim666 , while I agree that they should fix more of the bugs, I think that by having a pack that has some focus on gardening will force them to fix the current Gardening bugs.😃  This way gardening won't be as likely to get pushed to the side! 😉

    Happy Simming! 🥳

  • I'd much rather see them fix all of the problems in the current version of the game before they even bother with anything new. I mean it's bad enough that the upcoming pack seems to focus a lot on plants and gardening, and the plant and gardening system is messed up as it is. I mean think about that. It doesn't seem very smart to release content that relies on an existing gameplay mechanic that doesn't even work properly.

    Right now the priority needs to be on fixing broken and buggy content, not more paid content that will most likely just cause even more problems. Plus if you want supernatural style content there's the Realm of Magic, Vampires, and Paranormal packs already.

    I'd ask what mod you were trying to get to work and potentially help with it, but linking (and sometimes just mentioning) mods isn't allowed here unless they are approved mods that fix bugs.

    @PugLove888 I see where you're coming from, but if they want this upcoming pack to work properly they have no choice but to fix it. Unfortunately that doesn't mean they will fix it, and there's always the possibility that if they did then it could be something that will only apply to those with the pack. Plus there are too many other problems that need fixing besides just gardening, and it's completely unacceptable for them to ignore older content just so they can sell people new stuff.

    @PugLove888 Thank you so much! I will try your solution and thank you very much for your kindness! Happy Simming to you too! ✌️
  • @Psychotps Werewolves and Fairies are the only ones missing in TS4 from previous Sims games. But I do like how you can get different ones from different packs such as how they were done in TS2.

    @valohim666 , no it isn't a guarantee that they will fix all the gardening issues in time for the pack, but it does make it so that I think they will fix some of them, and at the very least they will be reminded of some of them.😉 I think this is our best chance to get them fixed soon -- other than that I think they would be more likely to put fixing gardening bugs off to the future, while working on other bugs.

    @DaynaSw11 , I'm happy to have helped! 🥰

    @pixelysimmer , we are also still missing Zombies!  (They were in both The Sims 2 and The Sims 3!)  And The Sims 2 had Bigfoot.  Both had Genies, and The Sims 3 had Mummies.
    But the major supernaturals that we are still missing are Werewolves, Fairies, and Zombies!
