Endless Vet Bills

I'm just wondering if anyone is having the same issue with their cats on Sims 4.  My sim is living in Sulani and did have to cats until I finally got sick of this issue and moved them to an unplayed household.  They were getting bitten everyday by squirrels which led on to constant vet visits every other day.  Not sure if it happens in other worlds as I didn't try moving before I sent them packing.  Any ideas?  I have no mods.

  • I don't have any ideas about why they're getting bitten by squirrels so often but I do have a suggestion to reduce the number of vet visits needed.

You can buy Wellness Treats from the vending machine at the default vet clinic in Brindleton Bay as long as it's unowned. The Wellness Treats should also be available at any other unowned vet clinics, as long as they have one of the vending machines that came with Cats and Dogs. You can make them yourself if you have level 5 Veterinarian skill. The Wellness Treats seem to cure all illnesses, so just stock up on them whenever you are at the vet and then use them as needed.

Or you could even take the opposite route - I played a rags-to-riches once where I started my Sim out with a fenced-in pee bush until they could afford a toilet. The dog was allowed free range. 😉
