After the last update, my saved game can no longer be loaded. I keep getting the error code: 109:c4a2e22:2c843300 - The game cannot be loaded. Please restart it. I've already removed all mods and CC, but I keep getting this code. I can load other saved games, but not this one. Unfortunately, I can't repair it using the EA app on my laptop because I'm playing the game on Steam. I haven't gotten a LastException either. Does anyone have any ideas?

Same problem, even on console. It's not a mods or cc error. It's because of the update.
I'm having the exact same error code. I've loaded the problem save, chosen another family, and then switched control to my household. Then I did Save As and that new save seems to be working fine for now.
acw28 Can you load a different household within the same save? Can you load the main lot in Build/Buy mode? Choose Load Game rather than Resume to go to Manage Worlds and have both options.
To repair in Steam, choose Sims 4 > Properties > Installed Files > Verify integrity of the game files.
